Adaptive Optics-enhanced multiphoton microscopy

Welcome to the EIC funded project AOscopy website !

AOscopy aims to establish, quantify, and validate the value proposition of next-generation multiphoton microscopy using Adaptive Optics (AO), across several application use cases in biology, as a key milestone for future exploitation.

To achieve this, AOscopy will make Adaptive Optics an accessible and effective technique for multiphoton microscopy users. The ambition is to enable new discoveries in biomedical imaging, by providing :

Better quantification

Better segmentation, induced by better signal-to-noise

Increased detection sensitivity of functional signals

Reproducible imaging condition

Deeper imaging

Up to 10x more signal

Lower laser power, resulting in lower background

Minimized phototoxicity

More signal, enabling reduced laser power

Longer-term live imaging

On this website you will find detailed information about the project, publications, news about its progress, and contact details for further information.
